These pieces were all created using mail order catalogs and interior design magazines and books as source materials. With the mail order catalogs I remove all the products that are being advertised and work with the background negative spaces. I enjoy creating new environments and abstract compositions out of what was intended to be visually neglected. With the interior design materials I reconfigure the perfect placed objects into confusing piles and materialist totems.
